DEAD AT 18

Untitled-2
"Sorry I have to meet you guys like this but I’m Super Proud of my Son Emmanuel using our tragedy as a Stepping Stone and not a stumbling block with my Mom Nonnie’s Help whom I will always Love forever and eternity."

Now you will meet my mom from a tot to a teen with me in her heart. As she graduates from high school on the way to college, running her nonprofit helping hundreds of homeless mothers and children with a sit down dinner at City Hall and giving an honorary award to Mayor of Atlanta, and so much more. The announcement of Tara passing after giving birth to her son Emmanuel Tara Hawkins miracle baby born against the odds a young life gone too soon. Our message is if you see someone being attacked or hurt please get help, never stand in the sideline doing nothing.

Hear Tara's account of what happened to her while four other teenagers that were supposed to be her new friends sat and watched the 911 call is heartbreaking.

So many people in the city of Atlanta and the surrounding areas were so moved by Tara and Emmanuel’s story. Many remembered Tara and her Mother Nonnie and the thousands of people they helped throughout the years be it helping families in need for the Holidays or, making sure homeless moms and their children in shelters had school supplies, clothing and more going weekly to feed over 400 that lived on the streets providing blankets, toiletry items being featured on the News for their humanitarian work. There was an outpouring of prayers for Tara and her unborn baby. Nonnie wanted to say Thank You to everyone by giving an Open House Thanksgiving Dinner to say Thank You and Show Emmanuel for the first time.

Tara's Home going many turnout to say their final "goodbye"

Meet Nonnie Tara’s Mother who was by her side 115 days until she took her last breath 2 days after giving birth to Emmanuel at 28 weeks spontaneous and unattended by doctors and Emmanuel’s overprotective grandmother who is his biggest cheerleader.

Meet Christopher which is better known as Chris a homeless guy that lived on the street and the first time Tara saw him, she couldn’t believe that his shoes was falling apart, I remember her telling me to stop the car, she rolled her window down introducing herself to him asking him what size shoes did he wear, he told her she asked him to wait until she came back, she looked at me saying Mother please take me to store to buy him some shoes and I will use my on money, she end up buying him not only shoes but a jogging suit, underwear socks plus got him some food and every time she saw him after that day she would always make sure she gave him money. He was so grateful and heartbroken when he heard what happened to Tara that he hitchhike to Tara’s funeral to say his final goodbye ( hear him in his own words).

You never know how life will play out and the people you will meet along the journey I remember being setup at a local grocery store where we was taking donations for homeless program and in return we would give out Angels to say Thank you for the support, I recall a young guy came pass me and GOD told me to just give him one of the Angels so I did telling him it was a Gift from GOD never given it a second thought low and behold to my surprise a year or so later we I got to the service for Tara Home Going the Pastor that was doing her service was the young man who GOD had me to give the angel too.

Tara was an only child and didn’t have family in the town we lived in we had moved to the South when she was only 2 1/2 years old and the family had lived up North and we didn’t see them very often but 3 weeks before Tara got hurt we fly to New York to share with the family that She was with child and she got to hangout with her cousins who had heartfelt words to share
